4th of July fireworks

I ran 5 miles in NYC before I left (Friday night) and the heavens opened on me. South Florida was not much kinder. 95-degree heat and 80% humidity is not ideal running weather.

It was like breathing through a wet blanket.

Not fun.

But I ran to the local country club & back on Sunday -- another 5 miles -- and my reward was coming home to jump into the pool afterwards! Woo hoo!

Monday: Cross-training -- 100 laps in the pool, and today, another quick run before we throw the annual Sharfin 4th of July Bacchanal...
