The State of the Economy v. MBA Recruiting (parte the firste)

So, it's recruitment time and I'm trying to hammer out the details of my offer from that small software start-up I worked for this summer, while simultaneously exploring working outside of the United States.

When I was a young lass in Florida, I used to read about offshore banking in the Cayman Islands (I was a weird kid, okay?) and I used to think that it would be fun to bank there and flippantly tell people that I was "going to visit my money" when on vacay/portfolio rebal meetings.

Well, because my 401(k) is (thankfully) largely invested in Europe and fixed income, my childhood dream may come true. Hooray for low expectations!
